Help! Last night I came home to find one of my 8 week old chicks dead, and a black rat snake crawling around the chicken pen. The only way he could have gotten in was to squeeze through the chicken wire. The chick was too big for the snake to even eat it. Snake got away, unfortunately. I put plastic around the chicken wire, about 3 feet high, in hopes of discouraging it from coming back for my other chick. I read on the bottle that Snake Away doesn't really work for rat snakes. Any thoughts on the "Liquid Fence" brand of repellent?
Thanks,
Bonnie
