So i have this 8-10 week old chickens from Tractor Supply co. that is SURLEY a roo. He i s developing spurs, has very large comb and tail feathers, he acts like a roo, he tussels with the other roo, and he has been crowing lately. theres your proof! also, he has extra toes so i think hes a mixture with another breed. However his colors look exactly like a sex link pullet! what breed/mixture is this!?!?!? please help!!! if you need anymore pictures just ask!

Did TSC get thier chicks from a hatchery or a private breeder?

That chicken looks like a Black Copper Marans mix, possibly a faverolle mix, the extra toe.

He's certainly a cockeral, although not a black sex link. (male black sex links feather in barred) With the 5 toes, he's a crossbreed.

He's going to be a pretty little man for sure! This one is a head scratcher for sure. I think he's a Dorking Cross of some sort. Those yellow legs disqualify him as a full Dorking, but it would explain the red earlobes and 5 toes.

Post pictures of him as he matures. Such an interesting fellow!
