Hatched First Duck with Pic

    This is my first duck that i ever hatched. This one hatched yesterday and i had one hatch today. What breed does it look like?

    Mallard or Rouen?? Where did the eggs come from??? What a little cutie- and Congrats on the hatch and your first ducklings!

    I vote Crossbreed [​IMG] but it does have 2 face stripes like a Rouen baby does.

    Looks like a blue swedish duckling to me. Not anything like a mallard![​IMG]

    The eggs came from one of my kin. She Is a older lady. She told me that they were wild mallard. I don't know. She also gave me chicken eggs and told me they were Banty but the eggs were bigger than the ducks.
