out of my 7 eggs that were candled on day 8 and good i had one hatch yesterday on day 17. one little crack in the morning with no movement all day and finally 12 hours later hatched in about 5 minutes. i cant see how i missed it seeing as my eyes are now part of the incubator. Is there any hope for more.... no pips in the rest but the chick is still in with them. how long should i wait? when should i take him out? i guess my diy incubator needs a name......lets see.......rubbermaidibator-inator...haha.

I thought maybe quail. Since they have a 17 day incubation, there is plenty of time for more to do their job. Congrats on the hatcher.
