Hatcheries in Illinois?

    Does anyone know of any hatcheries in Illinois? I can't seem to find any!

    There are no hatcheries in Illinois that I know of. There use to be on near Chicago but they have closed down.

    Its better to buy chicks out of state cause then you dont have to pay taxes [​IMG], plus they can ship it to you.

    County Line Hatchery is not far from Illinois in Iowa. Its not far off of Hwy 20. They are not your typical hatchery. It is run by 2 families that own all of their stock. The also show several of their birds. Their prices may be a little higher but the quality is there. I have several birds from their stock.
