So I bought a sexed female Salmon Faverolles from MPC and ever since he/she was little I’ve been worried that she is a he. The comb is not that big but it’s feathering in so slow. Also I know it’s too early and you only really know for sure with the chest but this babies wings are just so dark! Just wanted some early guesses

I’d wIt for the chest feathers to come in. We’ve had hatchery quality SF that were quite dark overall (no black feather on chest or neck, of course). Shouldn’t be much longer now.

Ok, thanks.

Okay, I'm glad. Just checking. :)

I was wondering also if this supposed female partridge cochin looks suspicious or if I’m just being paranoid.

Thanks I really hope they are both girls, or if one was a rooster it was only one. I’d have to re home one if both are boys because we don’t have enough hens.
