I got a fairy egg two or three days ago, I think it's from a bantam. The same day my Mille Fluer D'Uccle hen went broody, she's been broody before but I didn't let her hatch chicks. I gave the fairy egg to her to hatch.
And for those of you who don't know, a fairy egg is an abnormally small egg that may or may not have a yolk in it.
I candled the egg and there is something in there. I've tried to hatch a fairy egg before but it was infertile.

I'm sorry guys :( I think the egg is unfertile or it was fertile and the embryo died.

Someone else who tries to hatch a fairy egg will have to post their story here

If it was infertile... wouldn't there be NO embryo at all?

I probably wouldn't want a single chick to hatch anyways. Thank you still for sharing!
