Hatching Date?

We put our eggs in the incubator on Thursday, May 31st at 9am. When should they hatch - Wednesday the 20th or Thursday the 21st? We are down to 4 eggs - 3 silkies and 1 brown one. Fingers are crossed that at least one will hatch!

Ideal would be Thursday the 21st. But depending on your temp it could be anywhere from 20 days to 23 days

Should be the 21st however if your temp was a bit over 99.5 then they could hatch on the 20th. If temp was a bit below they could hatch after the 21st. Put them in lock-down on day 18 and I hope they all hatch for you.

Thanks! Temp has been steady at 100 since day 1. Only dropped slightly each time I opened the incubator to turn the eggs. This is a class project and I'm REALLY hoping at least one of them hatches! We candled yesterday and could see lots of movement, so that's always a good sign. Can you open the incubator at all when they're hatching or should it be kept closed to keep the humidity up?
