YAY!!!
soon i will be holding six new baby duck eggs:) im so excited
i might have to go and get me a brand new icubator for the occation!!!

LUCK!! post pics of Candling and ducklings!!!! But if you do get a new bator dont get an LG(or as i call it, Egg Murderer)... get a hova-bator

im kinda scared.. this is the first time with duck eggs..
i will try with the candleing pictures ive never done that before....

all you need to do for good candling pics is take a flashlight (stronger the better) then what I did was cut a circle of Cereal box cardboard the diameter equal to that of the flashlight. Then i cut a hole in the center of cardboard same size as small egg point. Stick egg on light, snap a pic.

MAKE SURE THE FLASHLIGHT IS STRONG BECAUSE ONE OF MY EGGS THAT HATCHED I THOUGHT WAS INFERTILE BECAUSE I USED A WEAK FLASHLIGHT. good thing i didnt give up on him!!!

Don't worry too much about it. There are quite a few threads on here about incubating waterfowl that should help you. I incubated ducks for the first time this year, and now they're my favorites to do
