I have a hen that's gone broody and unfortunately her nest got overrun today. Two eggs broke and left a yolk-y mess on her other eggs. Should I gently rinse them off? Or are these eggs unsalvageable due to the bacteria?

I personally wouldn't rinse them. They should be okay. What day of incubation?

It's only like.. Day two or three? Depending on if you count Saturday, since it was the first day

I still wouldn't mess with them. If you wash the bloom off it will cause problems.

Okay! Thank you very much. :) I was thinking that washing/rubbing them off would make it worse, but I wanted to make sure
