Hi, I live in south Louisiana, we rarely get really cold weather but expecting a lot of cold weather next 3-4 days, possibly even snow! My hen has been laying on her clutch of eggs on their coupe for about 18 data, we are expecting baby chicks during the cold weather. Should I try to add several heating lamps to their coupe or bring them inside with momma?

If you can, probably inside would be ok. One heat lamp in the coop would be fine too, just make sure they have room to get away from the lamp if they get too hot.

If mama hen is doing her job, and they're in a draft free area, they should be fine outside. If you could safely put in a heat lamp, that would let the chicks get out from under mama a little more often. However, if you want to be extra cautious, you could bring them in.
