How difficult is to hatch the Hookbill Duck eggs? I have 19 Hookbill duck eggs on the incubator now... I had hard time finding them for the last year and half. As they are shipped eggs, I did not expect to see development on all of them and was aiming for 6 ducklings only😀. Holderread annonce their retirement but they still have some Hookbill left that will be sold around fall like every year. I’m on the list since the last year but when they got to my name, they only have drakes available.

I do not know specifically about Hookbill Ducks, but in general, shipped eggs do hatch harder than not shipped eggs.
When do they hatch?

They hatched all by last Friday. Other than 3 that I helped a bit and had to stay 48 hours in the incubator as they were weak, 9 of them hatched in their own. They are all healthy, eating, drinking, pooping 😂
