Hatching in egg carton

    I thought I read somewhere that if you hatch in a egg carton, chicken eggs go point end down is this correct, and does the same hold true for duck eggs.

    On a sad note I thought I had a an egg with nothing in it so I cracked it open wouldnt you know it there was a live duck in there I did take a picture if anyone wants to see it.

    I didnt think I would make it this far to be asking this question as this is my first attempt.

    They go small end down in the egg cartons, just like in the turner [​IMG]

    [​IMG] There was no turner I turned them by hand 3 times a day.
