Hatching on the 19th Day?

Hi Every one, I reside in Kenya, East Africa, Recently acquired a forced air incubator. I was very surprised to 4 hatched chicks today (on the 19th day) is possible?

Hello and Yes sometimes they come early could be for a few reasons sometimes if temps are running slightly higher also some bantam breeds hatch sooner. What kind were they?

I have Icelandics and they regularly pop out on day 19-20.

Smaller breeds will come out early and especially if your temps are running high.

I have heard of people having early hatches like that before, many things could be the reason!! Anyways, glad you joined!!!

from Alabama. Glad you joined us. It's not unusual to have chicks hatch a little early, especially if the temps were running a little high. Bantam breeds, like Silkies and Seramas, are also pretty bad about being early. Congrats on a great hatch
