Hello all! So we have been incubating some silkie (possible satin/drizzle) eggs that I bought on EBay. And as with many shipped eggs, we had some pretty messed up air cells. Anyhow, we are on day 19, in lockdown. I have read a million different articles on how to treat eggs with damaged air cells. So I wanted to share a few pics of our progress and praying these babies make it out to the work. We started in my old gqf hovabator, then moved them to a brand new Brinsea Mini Advance. Out of the 9 eggs I got, 2 were duds (completely detached air cells, and 2 early blood rings. So we are down to 5. All 5 are alive and moving with only a small amount of yolk that can be seen when candling. So here’s some pics of our journey, so far... any tips or feedback is greatly appreciated!!! And also, how do I upload videos? Can’t wait to meet these fluff balls!
