AHHHH!! I am trying to hatch some ducks. I have never hatched any before. I let them set about a week longer than the chickens and still no ducks. I was almost ready to throw them out today. I candled them and saw movement inside. Anything different from hatching chickens? Any help appreciated.

oooo weee, yes some differences! [IMG]

Takes about 28 days rather than 21, the humidity is different . . . if you have movement, good, you may still have a decent hatch.

I am not a hatcher, just an occasional cheerleader for the brave ones who hatch.

This says goose, but it's for waterfowl including ducks

Baby hatched, but died soon after, during the night. Sad day in Duckville.

I may try again later in the Spring. I wasn't prepared for the ducks, A guy gave me the eggs in with some Buff eggs.
