    how long can hatched chicks stat in incubator before removing. I dont want to open door so humidity stays high.

    I leave the chicks in the incubator until they are dry, then I move them to the brooder or under a broody hen if I have one.

    When you go to remove, get them out as quickly as possible to avoid humidity drop. Use a few warm wet rags to bump the humidity back up to 65-75%.
