please advise
I bought 6 hens 3 years ago, 4 ‘rhose island reds’ 2 ‘white tail’ hens
I was told they were all 6 months old and they are a great little flock
Approx 3 months ago ( i live in the uk) eggs slowly teduced from 5 per day, approx 20-25 per week approx,
I now get approx 2 eggs per week ( in total)
Nothing has changed, ive followed threads on this site, checked for lice, worms, food, moulting, predators etc NOTHING!!!
Do you think the hens were many years older than i was told, how can i age a chicken ?
should i leave a light on in the coop all night ( im not keen on the 2nd option) or do i now have 6 free range pets ?
Regards
