My 4 year old hen "pretty" died yesterday after being very lethargic for only a couple of days. She was drinking lots of water but not interested in eating or moving around anywhere. I brought ber inside to the laundry and made a comfortable bed for her. I first of all treated her with some plain yoghurt, then cooked porrridge which she did not have any of. I then asked my husband to give her some apple cider vinegar through a syringe, I forgot to tell him to dilute it before i went out to run an errand and when i got home an hour or so later she was gone. He gave her about 3-5ml acv undiluted . Could this have killed her? Just thought i would ask the questlon.

Hi. This could possibly have been the cause but it sounds like she wasn't well anyway! Don't take it too hard on yourself. She probably died naturally anyway! Maybe someone will come along soon to give you some more info!
