Have you been watching the news?

OyVey!.....the 'fun' of it wears off pretty quick, but 4 days can wear you down.
Hang in there!
Today makes 6 days:th

Hope today's Nor'easter doesn't wreck havoc on you yet again!
From your lips to God's ears! I see trucks and men, looks like they'e waiting for something like maybe the new transformer to be delivered. :fl Just hope if they get it up and running all this wet heavy snow doesn't take it out again.:fl:fl:fl

Yeah...depending on which forecast I read...we're going to get anywhere from 1 inch to 18 inches...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I want a job that you can routinely screw up on...and still have a job. lol

I'm in NJ about 8 miles from the Delaware Water Gap. Guess you n I are in the same boat.

Had 2 days without power when ice storm hit us. 1st time that long. Had to think like i was at our unpowered deer camp. Had a car battery jump start but no generator. Had to come up with solutions you have shown. My deer camp gear is fine but it was still at camp. Biggest solution turned out to obtain second set of gear to have as home emergency kit like a propane stove and heater and to fix my welder generater i picked up used.

I wasnt as well prepared as you but will be. Thanks for your post and hopefully those power crews get you back to normal soon.

Im just thankful i hadnt grown up to be a lineman. Those guys have to be exhausted and that increases the chance of mistakes. Good luck to all in that storm area.

Sorry to hear about what you're going through. I know what it's like. It's nice the family stays close, that's a blessing. One thing I learned from my younger years wrap up some food in tin foil place under hood, go for a drive, instant meal. Here's another 1 take rack from fridge or stove, grab some cynder blocks or bricks, build up place rack on top, open fire, outdoors. All the best hope your power is restored soon :hugs

Oh man--that stinks! I hope they get it on today. We have hurricanes, but the most my power's been out has been three days. Hang in there. Sounds like you're doing great!
