I bought some pullets a few weeks ago from an amish farm advertising them as golden buffs, but when I picked them up he said they are red buffs. Have you heard of those? Just trying to figure out how much they'll lay!

Everybody has different names for birds. Like all those country people who call everything barred a dominekker. lol. And how they call anything yellow a Buff. whether it be mixed, a rock, or an orpington. or whatever.

I have come across the term golden buffs before and i believe they are golden comets, i believe i am not 100%. As for red buffs its probably a red sex link.
