Oh my gosh. :| Reading all that just makes me more convinced that I should have a plan in case of emergency.

Thank the lord that wildfires are something I probably will never have to deal with. I can't believe she had to go through all that.

Thanks for sharing the link. It's situations like this, when you're dealing with nature, we are reminded that things you love can be taken away with no warning.

This makes me even more dedicated to making decisions about what to do in a disaster, so that if I am surprised or facing a situation where time is of the essence, I won't be running blind.

Eat them! Oh, wait, you mean if it's an emergency to them... If something huge ever came up, and it was a true emergency, everyone would come into the basement. Unless of course there's a flood, then I suppose it'd have to be the attic.

I will let you know how it goes at the meeting, it is towards the end of the month of May. But I see some of the ladies regularly and will bring it up to them before hand.

I can PM you some pics of my girls later today. My Amira used to be the biggest pill to catch, and now she is a puppy. Didn't take that long. She was a pretty wild thing when we bought her. Hadn't been touched much in eight years. Apparently, she has somekind of fantastic pedigree (LOL, don't they all?), and is sired by this great imported Polish stud, but I never managed to get the papers. My fault, long story. Doesn't really matter to me, because she is just my horse, and I don't get into showing, breeding, ect. I bought her for $1.00, because she was in a bad spot, so I can't complain. I hope I can find a pic that shows her off a little. Her head isn't too dishy, but still very pretty, and her body is lovely. Beautiful back. You'll have to send me some pics of yours to, she sounds lovely, even if she is being mare-ish. LOL.

Nice to meet another Arab owner! I'm in a battle to get the papers on her too, I have seen them so I know they exist, but soon as my last payment on her went through, the woman stopped returning calls and never sent the papers. Soooo to court we go!
