I hug my banty cochins everyday, whether they like it or not lol
Mine get love everyday too.
I haven't hugged them yet today--but all 5 will get their hugs at some point during the day. I love my chickens!!!!!
I hug and kiss every one of my birds every night... There are 37 of them
I pick up each one at least once a day, give them a little massage around the legs and chest. They're young, maybe 5 months, and we just got them last week, (replacing three wonderful birds that fell to a raccoon ).
The don't yet know what to make of me and seem a bit confused and nervous; they let me pick them up but then they tremble or raise the feathers on the back of their neck and indicate they want to get away. I'm trying to get them used to me.

As for getting them used to you, I've picked up my newest addition, Queenie Bee, everyday since I got her (~2 weeks?). She used to fuss a lot but now I think she has just accepted the fact. It's jut consistency, they should eventually get used to the daily loving!
Mine get cuddled almost daily. But then, I raised them from day-old chicks and have held at least 1 every day since I got them. The 2 males are no longer cuddly though. Think they're too big for it, I guess.
My nickname is the Chicken Tickler! I give them hugs every day and pet them at bedtime. They are very tolerant of my affection, but they give me some huge eggs!
I couldn't today! Working on assignments + miniature horse show team at school this afternoon stole my chicken time!
