My rooster, yes. He's been wanting more ever since, but has yet to get past my boot again!

Hens, no. But Myrtle did peck me In the eye once. Stung like a bitch. I keep a closer watch from farther away ;)
 
About two days ago, one of the pullets got me.

Don't ever lose consciousness in a chicken pen. I am certain you'd wake missing some bits.
 
VERY odd conversation here, It probably causes the scab draw attention, may look like an insect etc.....don't think they are going after your blood.
 
Chickens are attracted to anything red, food or not. That is why if a hen is bleeding, you need to take her out right away because once they see blood they will probably kill whoever is bleeding.

So I'm curious, combs and waddles are red, why don't they peck these silly then?
 
I was bitten over a freckle, I guess? IDK. There wasn't a wound until the little stink bit and twisted. I will say that I learned long ago not to wear open toe shoes if you've had a pedicure. They can't resist painted toenails.
