Went upstairs to put my daughter down for nap and saw a woman walking two small dogs down the road. All of a sudden I hear the Guineas getting louder and then this panicked look on the womans face as the Guineas started getting closer to her. Fortunately they didn't cross the road, but she was moving really fast when she saw them coming. I wouldn't think anyone could be afraid of Guineas, but I suppose when there are 10 of them yelling at you, nervousness sets in. I can almost guarantee she'll never walk past our house again.

Yes, I have one Guinea that will run and try to attack my dog. The Guinea runs as fast as he can and charges at the dog. Sometimes if the dog does not move, the Guinea will actually hit the dog and then run off and do it all over again!

LOL, you have a gang of Guinea Bullies patrolling for you! Who needs watch dogs eh? [IMG]
I've never seen my Guineas go after any dogs, but my full-time free range bully Guinea gang will not hesitate to charge, peck and scratch/claw the snot out of the jack rabbits that are everywhere out here [IMG] I always have to bust up at the expressions/reactions of the rabbits when they get whomped by a cranky territorial Male Guinea that thinks it's too close to his flock, lol [IMG]

I've seen my guineas run off a poor Beagle that happened to stop by our place one day, they ran him down through the barn and OFF THEIR property, lol! A few days ago a HUGE St Bernard stopped by and the guineas went mad screaming at him, he ran down the lane with his tail between his legs, scared stiff!

We have 3 dogs and they all get on great, it just amazes me how protective the guineas are of their place, they always let me know when 'something' is going on outside:D

A few years ago I was looking out of my living room window and saw our neighbor's dog making his way across our front lawn. I was worried because our guineas were out ranging on the other side of the house. I quickly ran to put on my jacket and headed out of the house to try to prevent a tragedy. I had to smile at the sight that greeted me when I opened the front door. There was the neighbor's dog with his tail tucked between his legs and running as fast as he could across the lawn and up the driveway. Our small flock of guineas (I think about 5 at the time) were shrieking at the top of their lungs and in hot pursuit of the intruder. That dog never again wandered into our yard, which was fine with me. Gotta love those crazy, territorial guineas!
