I have some problems with my Humidity in my 1202 Cabinet Inubator.
I know your supposed to have it up to 45-55 for chicken eggs.
I can't seem to get it up there. it wants to run at 20% all the time. I have a pan and sponge setting on the top rack. It will end up dry in a day even the sponge. I have all the vents open and it sets in a shed outside. What can I do to get it up Thanks

In Florida I would think you would have the opposite problem of to much humidity. I would check to see that whatever you are measuring the levels with is accurate first off.

Its a small digital temp humity reader. My pan is dry everyday after I fill it up in the morning.

if your pan is dry the humidity is leaking out of the incubator. You mentioned vents in your post are they vents to the water pan or vents to the outside. If they are vents to the outside close them up and then as the humidity rises open them slightly to keep it within the range you want it.

This from their PDF file on the use of this incubator. and also a link.http://www.randallburkey.com/images/1202_1250_Cabinet_model_instructions.pdf
The two most common means of controling the humidity in
the incubator are by using the VENTS and/or the MOISTURE
PAN. New 1202 models 3 inlet vents at the top and 3 exit vents
at the bottom of the incubator. Begin with all vents closed
except the center top and center bottom vent, which should be
open halfway. Ostrich and emu eggs usually require all six
    vents to be fully open.
The humidity pan should be cleaned before first use and
after each hatch. The pan should be filled with
    warm water
and maintained at a level approximately
1/2 to 1 inch from the
top of the pan. We recommend using the Automatic Water
System (part No. 3030) to maintain constant water level. Center
    the pan on the shelf.
Do not install the humidity pad at
    this stage.
In most conditions the humidity pad will not be
used until the hatching phase of the process.
Allow the incubator to run with the vents set properly and the
pan filled with warm water for 1 hour, this will allow time for the
humidity to stabilize. Once the humidity has stabilized, make
small adjustments to the center vents as needed to provide the
desired humidity. Opening the vents will lower humidity and
closing the vents will increase humidity. Ca

Here's a quote from a 5 year old thread that I participated in. Might have your answer.
Quote: I did add some new weather stripping around the door today! TALK ABOUT MADE A DIFFERENCE! I'm holding at 50% humidity!!!

I didn't think it was making that much of a difference but after taking the old stuff off and installing the new one, it made every difference in the world...

    I love $2.97 fixes!

Warm, humid air rises. Try putting the pan at the bottom of the incubator and see if that makes any difference. If there are vents at the top and your pan is at the top, it'll all just leave the cabinet.
