HE DID IT AT LAST!!!!

    At one time I had 9 roos out of 20 chicks. I had to choose one to keep and the rest I gave away. Cayene was my choice. At 14 weeks he is becoming the roo I hoped he would be. He leads the ladies around and finds stuff for them to eat. I saw him lead them under the deck out of the rain the other day. This morning he crowed for the first time![​IMG] My little boy is growning up.

    my roo was a bantam cochin - he crowed aroun 2 1/2 months and had a bigger comb/beard that he does. do bantams mature faster?

    I have a feeling that they do. My silkie roo crowed at 10 weeks.
