Lots of folks in New Mexico, especially the greater Albuquerque area, advertise through Facebook. The FB group called NM Poultry Swaps and Info is a very active group for buying, selling, and finding out swap meet locations.

You are welcome! One other thing that I will add is that Santa Fe has a lot of HOAs, so I am not sure if you will find many folks selling fertile eggs in town (due to restrictions on roosters). But in the towns south of Santa Fe (Albuquerque, The South Valley, Los Lunas, Edgewood, Moriarty etc.) there are many small scale farmers and backyard breeders. So those are areas you will probably need to go to for eggs. But again, if you are willing and able to join the Facebook group I mentioned you will have absolutely no trouble finding hatching eggs for sale. And what better souvenir of your trip than new chickens!
