Healed Decapitation Attempt!

At the beginning of the month, something tried to pull this hen through a chain link fence head first.
I treated her neck wound with Corona ointment daily (the stuff’s magic if you haven’t tried it). I did battle some infection about 10 days in, so I scrubbed with Betadine as well as applied the ointment for a few days. I did the ointment for about 2 1/2 weeks until a nice thick scab grew.
It’s just about a month since the incident, her scab is gone & it looks great!
(I tried adding the photos in order from initial injury to today, hopefully they stay that way)

Hopefully she learned from it and will not poke her head through the fence again, or did you add some chicken wire in the meantime?
