Health and Aroma of Nesting Boxes

I was reading something on a Homestead Survival Site and someone posted a way to help your coop smell better.
Putting Herbs, dry or fresh in the nesting boxes. They found that there Hens would sometimes lay their egg and fall
asleep they were so content. Could even put flower petals in there. Thought that sounded like something I want to
try, what do you think?

Thanks hope it works for you. Sounds cheap enough, herbs are easy to grow. I just made a Greenhouse for Chicks veggies and herbs. Oh boy, I am really hooked. Hahaha
