Sadly, one of my new chicks named Sprinkles has passed away from what I beleive was a respiratory infection. She was loved and will be missed. Definitely the hardest part about raising chickens is having to let one go after getting VERY attached.:hit

Sorry for your loss. My chicks are my pets, my friends, my loves so I understand. I lost one of my Silkies when she was only a few weeks old to a squirrel:(

    R.I.P Sprinkles.

Sorry to hear about the lose, I keep multiple meds and needles on hand so I can respond quickly to any signs of illness...

it's been a while since I was last on but I wanted to update everyone. my last RIR chick also passed due to respiratory infection and I am very disappointed in the breeders conditions he kept the chicks in, which was the cause. I will not be buying from him again. :'(
