New to the board and soon to be new to quail. I'm thinking about getting around 200 day old Gorgia Giants. How many heat lamps will be adequate? Also, is there a temperature chart to go off of such as 100 degrees for the first week, 90 degrees for the second?

Thanks in advance

Youre going to need about 100 sq ft of brooder space to keep 200 bobs from killing each other. I would use ceramic infrared heaters instead of lights. White lights are a no no dont use them at all either red light or no light. Also start researching bobs because like the last poster said thats a lot for a beginner.

Good advice!
