I have a chick I got her sept. 7th she is by her self because the other other ones are sick. She has all of her adult feathers so does she still need a heat lamp? It is sopoesed to get down in the high 20.
    Thanks

How big/small is her coop/shelter? Is it draft-free? If she's in a place that's nice and snug (draft free), pile up a LOT of bedding for her. She'll most likely do just fine, although I'm sure she won't feel too secure all alone. Now if it's a bigger coop, I might think about putting her in a dog kennel (filled with bedding) for the night, either inside the coop shelter or in your garage or something.
