Would this be a good heat source or what would be
Hello there and welcome to BYC!
It all depends if you can completely control the temperature with it. Temps need to be accurate and stable. Stop by our incubation section of the forums. Maybe someone is more familiar with this unit...https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-hatching-eggs
Good luck and I hope it works for you!

Hello and Welcome To BYC!
Welcome to BYC! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.
900W is pretty big...The GQF and Dickeys use a 225W element for the cabinet. If you are going to use it as your heat source, I'd say be sure to have a fan (or fans) with decent CFM to make sure you don't end up with hot spots in your cabinet. What are you using for temperature control?
Welcome to the flock, sorry I am not a DIU person and have never had an incubator Sounds like Shootemup, knows what he is talking about.
Small space heater. U can use the element, insulators, and fan. Then wire it through a wafer thermostat replacement part for a styrofoam incubator.
