Hi everyone! I live in south Florida and currently have chicks that are almost two months old. I am getting two new chicks tomorrow, do you think I can take away the heat lamp completely from my current chicky babies or should I leave it just in case we get a cool night? I didn’t want to buy two lamps if I didn’t have to.

Absolutely! At 8 weeks they are fully feathered and don’t need the heat!
