Heated waterer. You opinion, please

I'm thinking of building a 2 sided box to house this as wind break and putting submersible heater between the bricks in black tub.

I think it will work! I only have 2 ducks.

I know my water heater has all kinds of warnings about appropriate electrical connections, just be sure you don't set up for a short - I admit being concerned about electrical hookups. At the same time, if you can do it safely, that may be a solution.

I'm not sure that you couldn't possibly have issue with melting something. I would opt for a heated bucket, just the small version..
