Heater plate question

Hello,

First time chick owner. I have four chicks that are around three weeks old. One Easter Egger, one Silver Laced Wyandotte, and two Golden sex links. I’m thinking one of the GSL is a rooster. He’s blonde and giant compared to the other who’s super small with a reddish tint. Anywho, they are all feathering out differently. The EE is the biggest of them all. How long do I leave the heater plate for them if they’re all feathering different and do I just wait for all of them to feather out before moving outside? Thanks so much.

I would keep the heater plate in the brooder until they are all feathered out. If any specific chick is all feathered out and too warm under the brooder plate, it will move away from it.
