Anyone tell me how to tell how many watts a heating coil is? I have one from a small heater I would like to use in my incubator build. It says it is 250 watts. I would like one that is 150. What if anything can I change to reduce the wattage?

    Thanks for any help!

I doubt it without a amp meter.Or measure Ohms resistance across element and it can be calculated...cva34
