Heavy metals found in hen

Just had x-rays done and found several pieces of metal in my hens stomach. Looks like a bullet casing, lug nut and maybe something else. Im looking for a vet that will do surgery. Shes only 8 months old and I cant lose her. Any advice on this? My heart is breaking.

Google Avian vets in your area. If you already had a vet do rads, ask them if they know anyone they can refer you to.

I mean you already have the advise. You'll just need to find a vet to do the surgery. I would also go through your run or yard (wherever your chickens range) and clean up. Chickens eat everything.
