Do you think I should make a ladder for the girls to get to the roosting area? The top of the little brooding area is 2 ft high. I don’t plan on clipping wings. I know they won’t necessarily need a ladder as adults as my full grown birds can fly pretty high... but this group is currently only 6 weeks old and are moving outside to this coop tomorrow.

I found that my really large breeds (Brahma, Cochin) prefer lower roosts or ramps because they don't much care for jumping/flying. But this was only once they got much older and bigger.
