Hello! I'm very excited to have found this site! We are going to be buying some chicks this summer to keep and raise as layers. This is all very very new to me, but I've been reading up and hunting for some good online resources. The hubby is going to be building himself a "man shed" this summer, and is going to build my coop up against it. We are slowly working toward our goal of self sustainability/homesteading on our half acre (and circus of two kids, two cats, and a dog). Nice to be here!!
