Hello everyone! Just joined, and could use some advice!

G’Day from down under Sunfeathers Welcome!

Sorry to hear you are in this predicament and also sorry that I am not able to assist or aid with good news. I have to agree that anything you get in writing can probably be waived. While all your current neighbours might even enjoy having them around, it only takes one angry neighbour who may move in after the fact to result in you having to part with your flock. Once you get attached to them it will be devastating to have to get rid of them. We are moving and the thought of having to hand my girls over to someone else chokes me up so we are paying to fly spoiled bantams 1,300kms to ours and their new home.

Sorry you find yourself in this predicament, best to get everything out in the open now rather then later.

Good luck to you!

Thank you everyone for your warm welcome and words of advice! I certainly appreciate it. I am hopeful this can work out, the home is lovely and it's only a few doors down from my best friend's house, who's also my daughter's #1 babysitter! But I don't know what I would do if I had to rehome my flock.
