Hello everyone. My name is Ken Bennison. I am a Canadian living in Nicaragua. I am retired now for the past 13 years now. My other i
interests are landscape photography, Poetry, Songwriter, Author. Always busy. I have a small backyard that I grow flowers. Plus bonsai trees grown from seeds collected. I am quite familiar with farming. The thought of growing small sized chickens intruded me. To date I have four bantam size chickens. I have a very beautiful rooster named John Henry. He will sit in my lap and I will pet him. What breed I do not know. I brought a hen weighing o.5 pounds and a rooster that weighs 1 pound. My latest find is a one pound speckled black and white hen.

Hello Melky. Why Nicaragua. First of all I have a small pension. Therefore I needed to live somewhere were the cost of living was cheaper than Canada. So I ended up in Nicaragua. My youngest brother and his wife have lived here for a number of years. That is how I came here. Always warm and no snow

Hello Ken
I am Nicaraguan and living in Florida.
So you're the one sending hurricane Eta over here to us. LOL. How are you guys there, did the hurricane get you where you in the town where you are? What should we expect here? Anyway, going back to chickens, LOL. I only have one and he is a rooster that lives indoors with me.
