Hi there, new to chicken keeping and this forum. I'm from Boston in the U.K. England. Started keeping chickens 2 months ago, rescued 21 girls from a neighbour who no longer wanted them, they were in poor shape, red mite and lots of feather pecking but now they look amazing and getting a regular 14 eggs a day even though it's cold and dark here at the min. I'm absolutely loving chicken keeping and thought this forum looks amazing for advice so here I am

Looks like a silkie cross. How many toes does it have???

What a gorgeous rooster. I would say he's a mix of a mix, probably with Polish, Silkie, or possibly Sultan ancestry.
