Hi my name is Brooklyn and I raised and showed Polish, Cochins, Turkens, Amerucanas, Barred rocks, and Silkies in 4H about 7 years ago lol. I finally bought my first house about 2 years ago and I just got 2 Amerucanas and 2 barred rock and plan to get some more when they come in at my CO OP. Chickens are such amazing Animal and I love them so much I cant to watch them grow up. My Favorite chicken was named Hegatha and she was my first ever I belive she was a cochin/bantam cross and she was the best momma lived about 12 years. So Im getting back in to raising them again. Im building a coop right now the inside is 4ftW by 9ftL. The outside is 4 ft W by 18ft L.

Well hello Brooklyn and welcome! Sounds like you're going to become a chick-a-holic soon enough.......It's so nice to have other people who understand the chicken madness! LOL

Um, my only advice would be (since you are already an experienced chicken person) to make your coop about three times the size you think you want!

It's never large enough!
