Hello katia. Nice to have you aboard! What kind for chickens do you have? I have 3 jersey giants, to easter eggers and now 2 silkies.
I have been lurking around BYC and reading up on all of the advice/trials/coop designs for a wee bit now and finally decided to post for adoption information.
Hello Lupa: I was the same way, I was always using BYC for reference as I just started raising chickens this June for the first time ever. What kind of chickens do you have, or what kind are you interested in getting? My husband is from Quebec (northern), it is such a beautiful province.

I'm from North-East NB. Tracadie-Sheila area. I have 12 Chantecler , 8 Delaware, 9 Australorp, 5 Barred Plymouth Rock, 6 partridge Plymouth Rock mix, 3 Silkies and 1 Belgium Bearded D'Uccles and 31 mix/poor quality Chantecler and a Great Pyrenees pup
Hello Surjeet: You have a lot of chickens. I wished I had that many. I have 3 jersey giants, 2 easter eggers, and I just picked up 2 cute 2 month old silkies. They are adorable we have a white one and a partridge one. What colour are your silkies? What do you like/dislike about them? We also have a poodle X, shitzu, and bull mastiff.
Oh are we naming all of our breeds now? I have 8 bantam Ameraucanas 5 Easter Eggers (standard) 30+ silkies 4 Giant Cochins 4 Barred rock (exhibition) 3 Barred rock (production) 19 Red Sex Links (for laying) 5 curly sizzles (mostly boys) 6 smooth sizzles (mostly girls) 3 call ducks (selling the other six next weekend). 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes 4 Naked Neck Turkens 2 Buff Exhibition Dewlap Toulouse 2 Eastern Wild Turkeys 10 Mottled Houdans 1 Delaware 1 RIR 2 Khaki Campbell ducks 1 Muscovy And way too many mixes to count right now Also have a miniature poodle, a corgi mix, and an LGD named Clementine Oh there are the cats too.. Dexter, Angel & Hemi. We free range our birds on our property. Because I love watching them loving life.
