Hey there, I've been around the site for a while, but finally getting around to setting up an account.
My family and I live in the Phoenix Metro area. We have a very small farm, but we're hoping to move to a bigger property later this year.

    Currently we have:
    8 ducks
    6 chickens
    5 cats
    2 german shepards
    2 rats
    1 horse

We're also growing some vegetables and such (cucumbers, tomatoes, green beans, parsley, hot peppers, etc).

When I'm not building something for the animals, or fixing something that they broke, or working, I'm trying to finish my PhD. In my spare time I write, and I'm building a poultry and waterfowl identification tool to help take some of the guesswork out of figuring out what people have.

    See you all around!
    -Ol' McJohnny

Thanks! We've found a 5.25 acre property we like, it's just a question of securing the loan now.

    That's a lot of birds! :)
For chickens we've got: 2 Ameracaunas, 2 buff orpingtons, and 2 barred rocks.
For ducks we've got: 1 Swedish Blue, 2 Peckins, and 5 Rouens.

I've got almost all of the Domestic Ducks loaded into the identification tool. I'll be testing it out and then putting it online to beta test within the next week or two.
