Hi, I live around East LA county and I have a small coop with 2 chickens. My boyfriends dad has a horse stable which they changed into a chicken coop and own around 50

I got my first chicken from them and I have 1 Rhode Island red mix rooster and 1 easter egger hen !

So glad you found us.

As for adding to your flock, you always want to add chickens of approximately the same age.

If you want good layers, get leghorns or sex-links.

If you want gorgeous eggs, get ameraucanas or marans.

aww I have 1 guinea pig, used to have 1 rabbit. My uncle has a husky that lives with us but I have to keep him away fromt eh chickens lol
