Hi everyone. I have visited this site before to get a feel for the community and try to learn a few things before getting started. I'm new to keeping chickens and thought I'd better become a member and ask my questions before it gets cold. I started with some Buff Orpington chicks back in April and found the first egg in their coup about three weeks ago! Exciting stuff!

Buffs are gorgeous birds, super sweet as well from what I've heard!
Buffs are also very hardy birds, and fare well in cold weather.
