I'm new to raising chickens I started with (1)-Beardless Black Silkie Rooster and (4) Pullets (2- butterscotch colored) and (2-silver colored) I have a mallard duck and a black duck hen! I've always wanted to raise chickens now we have the room I'm going at it!

Ok so question I want some egg layes. Ones that will hatch their young any recommendations? I have silkie rooster and 4 hens I don't have one egg between the lot of them. They should be 3-4 months old maybe older but nothing. I'm wondering if it's because they were in a pen with a mallard and his miss till today. I just built them their own chicken tractor! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
